Sunday, 18th July saw Kelsale
host a Fours tournament to help raise funds for Kelsale Village
Hall.
A total of 36 teams from clubs
all across Suffolk joined us on the day, competing in 2 groups,
each team playing 4 times, to find the top 4 in each group, who
then went through to the knockout stages.
The losing Quarter Finalists
were 2 teams each from Kelsale and Brantham, while Tolgate and
Lawford both fell at the Semi Final stage. This left Knodishall
and Barking to play out the final and while Knodishall got off
to a good start, Barking pulled back their initial deficit to
come though and win a close fought game.
