Suffolk were off to
a promising start with an 11-5 win over Sunderland, but the rest
of Saturday was not so fruitful as they lost to Cambridgeshire,
Durham, Essex and Hertfordshire.
However Sunday went much better,
they started off with a 22-3 trouncing of newcomers Lancashire,
followed that with an even better 17-3 win over Norfolk and rounded
the day off by beating Northumberland 12-5.
That run of wins pushed them
up to a respectible 5th place finish on 8 points. Cambridgeshire
took the title on 14 points.

was only good enough for 8th place, being short on shorts, but
