As you can see from the picture
to the right, we have learned that the indoor bowls carpet at
Gunton Hall is currently removed.
We've been in touch with them,
but haven't been able to discover whether they plan to put it
back down again, although this would seem to be the time of year
when it would be down.
We understand that the situation
is the same at Hayling Island.
Being able to use the hall
without the carpet is a better proposition for us. Unfortunately,
though, having spoken to them, they are unwilling to turn the
hall, over to us for a weekend, so sadly it looks like a return
is not feasible.
We are still trying to find
an alternative venue.
