With the Lakeside event getting ever closer, we thought we would give everyone an update on our plans for the holiday.

Firstly, we are very pleased to say that there will be more than 50 Pairs joining us at Lakeside.

During the course of the week we will have the use of the Bowls Arena. As you can see from the pictures, this is going to give us a lot more space than is usual for this sort of holiday, so we intend to use that space to give you the opportunity to play more games.

Pairs
The main event for the week's bowling will be the Pairs Competition.

We will be running the Pairs on Tuesday and Thursday, with the plan being that everyone will get at least 7 games over the 2 days, 4 on Tuesday and 3 on Thursday.

In addition, Thursday afternoon will include a knockout stage for the top qualifiers, to conclude the week's bowling.

Fours
Wednesday afternoon will be left completely free to give everyone the opportunity to get out and about, but on Wednesday morning, for those would like to take part, we intend to run a Fours Competition.

Anyone interested in playing will be inviting to register on Monday and you will have the opportunity to make up your own Four with other players, or simply leave it to us to make the teams up for you.

Jumblies
Although the venue will be providing entertainment in the evenings, if there is enough demand we also intend to organise Jumblies from around 8 o'clock onwards.
