I am very sorry to tell you
that Tony Webber died at his home in France on Friday.
I am told it was sudden and peaceful, with the cause of death
being fluid on the lungs and neither he nor anyone else had any
warning.
Biddy and her son, Martin,
will be making funeral arrangements but I understand he will
be cremated in France.
Tony did so much for bowls in Suffolk and also played a significant
role in the popular English Pairs events held for many years
at Hemsby, before he and Biddy moved to France in 2006.

service for Tony will be held at Willisham Church on Wednesday
