Cambridgeshire Carpet Bowlers are holding a fun day on Saturday 23rd June 2012 in aid of Children with Cancer.

The format of the day will consist of 2 matches being played continuously between Cambs Past & Present v Suffolk Past & Present, the matches will played from 2pm to 6pm and the county that scores the most shots over the 2 mats will be declared the winners.

On our third mat for 50p a go you attempt to beat your opponent with 4 woods over 1 end, the winner stay’s on until they have been defeated! (the winner does not pay again until they are beaten). The person winning the most number of ends in the afternoon will win a prize!

In addition to the bowls we have a disco in the evening; there is also a ploughman’s buffet in the afternoon and buffet in the evening.

We are planning a fantastic draw in the evening; donations would be very much appreciated.

The cost of entry will be £10 per person and this covers the bowls, 2 buffets and disco. For those who wish to support the event in the evening only the cost is £5.00.
